Gabriel is a 3rd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the elite Checkmat team, with over a decade of competition and coaching experience working with both kids and adults. He’s passionate about building a strong community centered on confidence, discipline, and practical, real-world jiu-jitsu.
 

As an instructor, Gabriel puts just as much emphasis on personal growth as he does on technique. Having grown from a shy student in Brazil to a gym owner in the U.S., he creates a supportive, family-like environment where students feel welcomed, challenged, and genuinely invested in; on and off the mats.
